Administrators for UK retailer Wilko announce 9,100 more redundancies

A further 9,100 staff will lose their jobs at struggling UK retailer Wilko following the collapse of rescue attempts, administrators PwC announced on Monday. “Despite extensive efforts, it has become clear that no significant part of the Wilko operations can be rescued as a going concern,” it said in a statement.
