US says North Korea troops ‘legitimate’ targets if they fight in Ukraine

North Korean troops who are currently training in Russia would become legitimate military targets if they engage in combat in Ukraine, the White House said on Wednesday. “If these North Korean soldiers decide to join the fight against Ukraine, they will become legitimate military targets,” National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told journalists.
