Geert Wilders took his PVV party to power in the Netherlands by being a rightwing firebrand who took the fight to the Islamist extremists in his society, to the point where he’s had to live 20 years under security measures.
After his party won the most votes last election, the establishment Globalist parties froze him out, so he had to step away from the Prime Minister’s role, that ended up with former Intel Chief Dick Schoof.
But Wilder is still the leader, so when an Amsterdam hooligan riot degenerated into antisemitic raids, Wilders did what he does, and torched the cabinet for its bland reaction to the matter.
Following that, state secretary Nora Achahbar quit after ‘hearing racist comments’ in a cabinet discussion of the violent Amsterdam football match.
The Dutch government, for a moment, felt like it could unravel – but now thew crisis sems to have subsided.
Euronews reported:
“Moroccan-born Nora Achahbar of the centrist New Social Contract party said she had heard racist comments in cabinet about immigrants after Israeli fans were assaulted following a soccer game in Amsterdam.
Last week, Party for Freedom leader, Geert Wilders, blamed Moroccans for the violence, claiming that ‘we saw Muslims hunting Jews’ and added it was fueled by ‘Moroccans who want to destroy Jews’.”
Wilders has ardently argued that those convicted of involvement should be deported if they have dual nationality.
Morocco-born Nora Achahbar is a member of the centrist New Social Contract party, and announced her resignation as finance secretary.
“She said, ‘the polarizing manners have had such an impact on me that I could, or would, no longer fulfil my role as state secretary’.”
After consultation with party leaders, Prime Minister Dick Schoof said that the four coalition parties saw that they wanted to continue.
Schoof also denied that there is racism in the coalition.
“While politicians condemned antisemitism and agreed that perpetrators of the violence should be prosecuted and handed harsh punishments, opposition legislators accused Geert Wilders of inflaming the situation.
Wilders, whose party became the biggest in last year’s election, also sowed some dissent within the four-party coalition with his comments.”
